The Princess Zelda!

Ganon took her away!

Now the children don't play!

But, they will when Link saves the day...

NO YOU'RE A STUPID BROAD!

Anyway, I'm actually going to go with Westley here.  Because, well, he's powered by the most noble cause of all, true love.

Okay, well, more for the fact that he beat a much more skilled swordfighter than Link.

Link.  When it comes down to it, he's acting with only some guidance from others and taking on greater magic and more supernatural enemies.  The Dread Pirate Roberts needed Billy Crystal, Mandy Patinkin and Andre the Giant to save his beloved.  If I was in a better frame of mind right now I think I could put together a good argument for Westley being more of a manipulative user than an actual hero, but I'm not, so deal with it.

And Link didn't need help from people?  What about all the people that gave him his swords?  And really, Miracle Max's pill is no different than the life-restoring faeries.

Besides, this is about who'd win in a fight, and Westley is older, wiser, taller, a better swordsman, and yes, more manipulative (he was a pirate after all).  Thus, he wins.

I dunno, Link does embody the elements of the triforce.  He has the courage to face amazing odds, the wisdom to solve countless innane puzzles, and the power to face down creatures several times his own size.

Not only that, but Link knows something Westley doesn't know... Link IS left handed!

I don't know how that's useful, I just really wanted to use the line.

This argument is absurdly simple that the answer is quite obvious.

They've both beaten a giant so they consider themselves uncommonly strong; therefore I clearly cannot chose the glass in front of you. But they've both bested a swordsman which means they have studied, and in their studies they have learned that man is mortal; so I clearly cannot choose the glass in front of me.

Think I'm trying to trick you into giving something away do you, trying to stall my choice eh? Well your wrong.

I choose Westley Hah! *GLUG*

Think I chose wrong do you? That's whats so funny. I switched the glasses when your back was turned. You Fool!  You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! the most famous is Never Get Involved in A Land War In Asia. But only slightly less well-known is this: Never go against a Masked Martial Artist when death is on the line! Ah Hah Hah Hah, Ah Hah Hah Hah..........URK........THUD!

The winner is Link.

I'm gonna have to say Wesley, just because Link looks anime, and anime is inherently lose.

not only is this a very valid point, but it brings me to my main point...Westley was only MOSTLY dead after the machine went to 50...how many times has Link been ALL dead?
