Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo’s Dungeon (Wii)

I never touched the original Chocobo’s Dungeon titles.  The general consensus seemed to be that they were overly simple, childish and repetitive.  I thusly ignored them like a good little sheep.  I’ve since taken on the task of challenging such notions, and so when the Wii sequel followed, I dove in with my ears covered from nay-sayers.

Audiosurf (PC/STEAM)

I just gave the Audiosurf demo a try on STEAM.  It’s being called a puzzle/rhythm hybrid.  You pick song amidst your iTunes or other assorted MP3 collection, and it becomes a track of colored blocks along a three lane track.

In 1997, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night changed the face of what we call a Castlevania, leading to half a dozen hand held sequels in its image.  But just after, the classic Gameboy saw a new title in the form of a classic prequel.  Starring Sonia Belmont, Castlevania Legends sought to put an origin story to the series.  But in revitalizing the series, Koji Igarashi felt that the game did not fit his Castlevania time-line, and removed it from the official lore.  So, what exactly are we missing, then?
