Inspired by the requests on the forums, the second AbG FACEOFF! brings you a showdown on metaphysical proportions: Jesse Custer takes on Randall Flagg. The man with the word of God against the man who may very well be the Devil himself. Let’s do this, let’s crank this up!

Randall Flagg The Walkin’ Dude is the bad man in Stephen King’s post-apocalytptic world in The Stand. He’s the all-seeing evil; he’s in every rat, crow and wolf prowling the landscape. Even if he looks like kind of a douchebag as portrayed by Jamey Sheridan. Flagg’s got an uncanny ability to manipulate and exploit the most basic fears and weaknesses in people, and this ability has given him a sizable army you’ve got to deal with, including the psychotic Trashcan Man. But, the numbers aren’t the only thing you have to contend with here; Flagg has to have absolute control over everything. Rumor has it he’s even crucifying people who disobey him on telephone poles… |

He had the power of the voice of God, and didn't even use it to kick his brother's ass (A man who stomped a mudhole in an enraged gorilla once.) That's total balls right there. |

DrDetroit Re: AbG FACEOFF! #2: Jesse Custer vs. Randall Flagg Gave it to Flagg, half for the sake of debate, half because there's some things I can't get past. Mainly, I think Flagg's got what it takes to break down Custer's network and that he'd at least be able to get either Tulip or Cassidy on his side, since their relationships with Custer aren't exactly based on trust. Plus, Flagg's going to know what Jesse is planning well in advance. That gives him the advantage here. |
