Bah weep graanah weep ninny bong. It’s September 17th, and your man with half a plan is back for more. I am giddy after a weekend of football sandwiched with a bad bout of digestive angst. A tip for all of you- if you are wary of microwave hamburgers that might be more than two weeks old but you can’t remember when you initially thawed them out, don’t eat them. Bad things could happen when you do.

So, what’s on my mind today?

Robert Jordan, the creator of the long-running "Wheel of Time" series, has passed away. Damn.

The Halo 3 ending has leaked. Are you frickin’ serious? The biggest release of the year that isn’t the particular game that you’re thinking about right now gets some super spoilers leaked for it a week before release? This is not a coincidence. I’ll bet you a half-penny that this was calculated, and no- I did not take a look. It could be fake, but damn it, as of the time of this typing, it’s news and its’ in my head, so up it goes. If it’s false, I’ll hit up the front page with a retraction, ten Our Fathers, and fifteen hundred Hail Marys, I promise.

Ooops, O.J. did "something" again. Who knows what the hell went down at this point. Oh no, there’s a tape. Hooray for yet another media circus. I’m gonna go grab my noisemaker. You get the shotgun. If the noise doesn’t work, we’ll have to fend them off somehow…

Er, ahem.

The Emmys happened last night! Congrats to the winners! Go go Buffalo! There will be all new nominees next year, so… THE RACE BEGINS. AGAIN.

Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things: A 35th Anniversary edition. RIP, Bob Clark.

Commando: Director’s Cut - Awww yeah. Schwarzenegger’s most quotable film somehow gets a director’s cut twenty years after the fact. Fear composer James Horner’s mastery of the steel drum! Arnold doesn’t get to de choppah in this one, but he does shoot a bunch of folks. Remember when he said he’d be back? He lied because he became governor of California… but that’s okay. There’s always this disc… and endless FX repeats of The Sixth Day.

Grindhouse Presents: Death Proof – Extended and Unrated Edition: OMG WTF?! n0 Planet Terror just yets?! Oh well. Zoe Bell FTW.
