Hi, I’m Brick Prior, and I’m hoping that this is the start of a wonderful relationship between us.

Anyway, let’s start off with something light and fluffy:
id Software has a new game coming out whenever it’s done!
What is it, you ask? It’s called Rage. Am I excited? A smidge, because it involves shooting things. Is there a video? Ohohohoho, you say funny thing- yes, there is- right behind this cut!
Now, me and id go way back- while most people were being good middle school students, I was busy shooting Nazis in Wolfenstein 3D. I may not be able to do pre-calculus problems worth a damn, but I do know that an exploding barrel can kill zombies in Doom (the original, not the 3rd game that made me scream "WHERE’S MY FUCKIN’ FLASHLIGHT?!" any time I wanted to shoot a demon in the damned face.) Anyway, I’m just like you: id Software makes games that speak to me as a consumer because I get to shoot a lot of things in them and feel awesome about it.
Anyway, this looks like it could be a lot of fun, and very expensive if you don’t have a powerful computer- as we all know, if you’re gonna shoot a lot of polygonal enemies, they better look great when they get all gibby. If you are like me and subside soley on microwavable Nissin Chow Mein packs and Miller High Life, let’s all band together and rob a bank in the near future so we can play this possibly cool game.
Hell, I could be speaking too soon. This could turn out to be id’s Daikatana, which wouldn’t be pretty.
What are people saying about "It Ain't Doom IV, It Ain't Quake 5, It's Something Brand New"?
